A little bit of history..
Aylesbury United Ladies were re-established in 2002 with just a ladies team until 2005 where the inclusion of girls youth teams began with an U16 team, the club has grown year on year and at present Aylesbury United Ladies & Girls now have over 17 ladies & Girls teams from U7 wildcats through all age groups to U18 & women's. We are extremely proud to offer ladies and girls of all ages the opportunity to learn and play football in a fun and friendly environment.
This particular Squad now the Under 16 Academy has in the majority been together now for over 5 years enjoying much success and even competing a year above for 2 of those years. Last year competing as Aylesbury United L&G U15 Whites we enjoyed record breaking success, the girls won the Bedfordshire League 1 title (15 points clear and a game in hand), The Beds league cup beating Luton Town ladies 10-0 in the final. The Berks & bucks County Cup beating Tilehirst Panthers 9-0 in the final and were fortunate to be selected to compete in the prestigious and Elite, Aces National tournament. An Amazing achievement for not only the team but the club.
This season 2023/24 the girls will be competing at the highest level, testing themselves against some of the biggest U16 teams in the country in the biggest elite league in the country JPL Warriors.
Manager Mark Cox & Assistant managers Matt Conder & Alan Grant are extremely proud of the girls hard work, dedication and team spirit coupled with the continuous amazing support from parents. The girls play some amazing football and their desire to improve and compete is a credit to everyone involved.
